Larkspur Kids is equipping children to authentically follow Jesus so that they will be transformed their whole life long. At LC, children are safe, taught at an age appropriate level, and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus. Kids are exposed to God through activities, drama, and discussions in a unique and fun learning environment.

ABOUT
Larkspur’s children’s ministry is available to meet the needs of all kids newborn to 6th grade and beyond. Our goal is for the youngest in our faith community to know and experience God’s love in tangible ways. Our hearts are for our kids to know that HE is always there for them. We desire LC’s children will establish a personal relationship with Jesus – one marked by honesty, authenticity, willingness, and faithfulness. We train our children to learn how to spend time with God – alone and devoid of distractions, creating opportunity to hear His voice and guidance. No matter what season your child is in, there’s a place for them here at Larkspur Church and in the Kingdom!
ROOT 456
ROOT=Rooting Ourselves On Truth
456=4th-6th grade.
ROOT 456 offers a wonderful bridge from children’s church, focusing on deepening our students faith walks no matter what they face day-to-day. It also serves to help prepare our students for their future journey into LC’s youth group. We love that almost every single child that has gone through 456 is now actively participating in our middle school and high school Student Ministries. LC’s curriculum is “Deeply Rooted” which is exactly what our students are learning – how to go deeper with God to develop a relationship with Him that is solely their own. One that launches their faith journey independently of their parent’s relationship with Jesus and is relevant to the challenges they face each day.
K – 3rd
LC’s Kindergarten through 3rd grade classes utilizes Grow curriculum to teach our kids all about Jesus. Through prayer, Bible centered lessons, worship and sung scripture, we teach the kids how to hide God’s word in their hearts, cultivating their personal discipleship with Jesus.
NURSERY AND TODDLERS
LC offers a family room where parents and young babies or toddlers can watch the broadcast service in privacy, including an area for nursing moms. This room is located immediately North East of the sanctuary doors and can be accessed at any point during service. For those with children newborn through toddler, we have a loving staff ready and available to care for your child while you enjoy service. Your baby will receive prayer, play, and loving attention – allowing your time in service to be uninterrupted. Our nursery playroom can be located immediately South East of the sanctuary doors.
HOME ROOM
At LC, we believe every child should have the chance to be comfortable and cared for in ways that meet their individual needs. We offer the “Home Room” class for any child needing more individualized attention. We have specially trained teachers for special needs kiddos, with class ratios of 3:1 or less. Any child can choose to join this class, especially if they are having a particularly rough morning or just need to decompress. This class offers a more free form approach to the curriculum where the same lessons can be taught through painting, relaxing, and play.
